Open source credits

Built on open source.

Good engineering is mostly assembly. Velox stands on open source: proven tools from the open internet that we tuned for hostile networks and composed into one working system. We show that work openly here, the way we learned from the open source that came before us, and as we develop methods of our own we will open what we can. Here is everything we stand on, with the license we checked at source and how we comply with it.

The engine, and our source offer

Velox runs on sing-box, which is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Because the Velox apps incorporate it, the combined work is offered under the GPL-3.0, and the complete corresponding source for the Velox client, including our changes and build scripts, is available to any recipient on request at hello@veloxvpn.ai.

Velox is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the sing-box authors, and does not use the sing-box name to imply any association.

Licenses were checked against each project's source at the time of writing and can change; if you spot anything that needs correcting, write to hello@veloxvpn.ai. Standards and algorithms (RFCs, Ed25519, CoDel) are ideas anyone may implement and carry no distribution obligation. Where a project is named, its names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
